CPF Chapters

  • provide local programming (e.g. fun French movie nights) to enrich French as a second language (FSL) learning in schools;
  • offer information and resources to parents wanting to support their children’s FSL journey; and
  • advocate for increased and improved FSL opportunities for students at the school district level and with school administration.

Some CPF Chapters have been serving their communities for more than 40 years!  CPF Chapter volunteers are key to our success. Without their efforts and advocacy, FSL programs would never have been established and sustained across the country. They are the unsung heroes in the story of a bilingual Canada.

CPF Teams

If no CPF Chapter exists in your community, you can join forces with one or more interested individual CPF members to work directly with your local Branch and form a CPF Team. You and your co-volunteers can lead and coordinate an agreed-upon CPF brand activity or event to benefit youth learning French in your community. Contact your local Branch to learn more about forming a CPF Team.

Can’t find an active Chapter near you? Contact your CPF Ontario Branch to discuss your interest in volunteering as part of a CPF Team.
